Here is the answer my dear:
Let us consider the following equation:
x^2-x^2=x^2-x^2
It means that:
(x-x)(x+x)=x(x-x)
By dividing both sides of the equation by(x-x) we get:
x+x=x or
2x=x or
2=1 or
1=2

and finally if we substitute the above conclusion into your (question) we can say

1+1=2+2=4
did you convince?

It means never have second thoughts of what you decide to do. Your decision should be as clear and real as 1+1 equals 2.
