THIS ANSWER IS BLATANTLY OBVIOUS! Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer of all time. Nobody has even come, or will come, remotely close to what Tiger has done before the Age of 30. And almost all golfers have their prime IN THEIR 30's. The Tiger Woods you see now, the one who seems like a God walking among mere mortals, is not the Tiger Woods you will see in the future...he will get better. The biggest improvement in his game after his dad died was looking at the game of golf in a new way - changing the way he plays the game. Nobody has a chance now. You expect Tiger Woods to win all 4 majors in one year at least once in his career. Also, you should expect him to top 25 Majors for his career - and that might be to low.

It's all about technology and fitness. Jack and Tiger could hit the ball a mile, Jack made slightly more putts, Tiger made lots more "shots". I have always thought Jack was better, but the more I watch Tiger I think that, in their primes, Tiger would beat Jack. But it would be very, very close.

With no disrespect to the old school, Tiger Woods would win. All athletes in all sports today are bigger, faster, stronger and just plain better than athletes of the past. Would a fat Babe Ruth even make the starting lineup in today's game?
