My boyfriend gave me a credit card and told me to spend as much as i wanted. I was in shock and told him it was too much but he said i should take it so i did. He's bought me alot of designer purses and stuff, and i dont want to accept it but he tells me to. I feel so guilty what should i do now?

Well i think that it is ok to spend some of the money, but not go crazy. I think that this will show him that u respect his generosity, and also respect him by showing him that your not a gold digger as well.

Nothing like youth and naivety. Sistah, you are about to make a mistake that many sistahs make in this world and that is thinking fantasy land has a place on a map.

Something tells me that whatever anybody suggests in the way of not spending his money is going to have the same impact as God had with Eve when he told her not to eat the apple.

You are coded to eat the apple. Good Luck.

If you'd like you can pass me the credit card & I can spend it for you...

Just kidding Sweets!

I've been in your situation more than a few times and I tell my guy "I love that you want to make me happy & allow me to buy anything I want... But the reason why I love your gifts so much is because you actually bought them for me... So let's go shopping & spend some time together..."

It seems to work... I got my Mercedes SUV that way *sighs* I love that man!

You're lucky that he gives these things to you. I suggest that you be prudent. Just spend what you need or a little extra once in a while. Or use the credit to buy more important things like food and groceries or gifts to family and friends.

Don't do anything you are uncomfortable with! If he wants to take you shopping, he should, not just send you off with his credit card, lol, that's like giving a kid a new toy to buy a few minutes of peace, lol. If it makes you uncomfortable, it is not a well thought out gift, is it? Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

Maybe you could use it on yourself, but every once
in a while buy something nice for him so you won't
feel as bad or guilty. It was a very generous offer,
and I would be the same way, but if he's really that
set on you using it, you might as well.

If he gave you the card and said use it, then use it. Might as well test the waters now. Dont go crazy or anything, just test him out.

I would return the card and tell him that you just don't feel right or comfortable doing so, and that your relationship isn't based on material things. Maybe ask for a nice, romantic dinner in exchange and tell him how much you appreciate his nice gestures. :)

Don't spend his money without his knowledge. Ask before you buy. It is HIS money...his money HE earned. Respect his wishes, and keep the credit card...just make sure you ask before you buy anything.

Is he a drug dealer or just rich? If he is just rich you should spend some but dont go to wild. If hes not rich or a drug dealer he might be testing you to see how you are with money
