Bichons haven't been as over bred as Poms have. Meaning (generally) less yapping, social and health problems.
Poms are known yappers.
Bichons have this adorable prance that is just priceless.
Also, (this will be unpopular) the white fur lends itself to all sorts of (all natural, non-toxic) dyes. One of my friends dyed each of her Bichon's legs a different color. Combined with the prance I told you about, it was hilarious!
A pink (or blood red) mohawk would look insane on such a girly little frou-frou dog. Very funny. Just imagine the neighbors reaction!!

Bichon Frises are usually nicer, but they're both very cute. A Bichon Frise is actually an allergy-free dog, too.

I would have to say Bichon Frise. I have a Bichonpoo (half Bichon Frise half Poodle) and she is amazing the best dog I ever owned. Bichon Frise are great!

My choice is a Bichon Frise. They are so good natured and love to cuddle. Not only that but they don't shed, and are hypo-allergenic. Who can resist a Bichon smile? They make good therapy dogs. The elderly love seeing them come to visit in the nursing homes or hospitals and they are good with children. They are wonderful little dogs!!!

Bichons are usually friendlier, sweeter, they are not yappy, and have mild temperments. They don't get as easilly agrivated. they are very happy to just be sitting beside you on the sofa watching a movie. As Pomeranians, can get a little yappy (high pitch bark) and have been known to snip at ankles when threatened or scared. They are a little more High maintainance...meaning of thier attitudes. "Princesses" But not all are like this though. depends on the "pick of the litter" But they both are very cute.
