After the first date how long after would be nice to call a girl?

Typically it seems that guys follow their "man rule" as far as calling... 3 days... Why? I have no clue... But it seems that it doesn't allow them to be too eager/desperate... but it also doesn't allow a woman to think they're totally NOT interested... But I hate 3 days...
I would say the next evening and actually preference it in the date... Simply ask her what her schedule's gonna be like over the next few days following the date... then tell her you're going to call... Now here's the most important thing about this... CALL HER WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL!
If you don't, you won't get a repeat date if she's self-respecting...

As a girl it's usually said that if you don't call within a week you aren't interested, so make sure you call within that week!
2 or 3 days is a good estimate, although if the date went very well there's nothing wrong with calling her the next day.

Whatever you do, don't do it right after you get home or the next day. You should wait a minimum of two days before calling her.
