I'm cheap and lazy and hate paying for software if I can get it for free. Does anyone know af a freeware program to enable avi's to be able to burn to dvd's so they play in a dvd player? I found lots that want $19.95 for a reg #, but as I said, I hate to buy it if I can find it for free. One I found let me convert 50% and then asked for $19.95 to convert the other 50% (what a crock!)

go to www.dowload.com and search avi to dvd converter, when the search results come up there should be a row of drop-down menues where you can narrow the results by os, license(free or free to try), file size, and category(windows, mac, or mobile). I'm trying to find a program to convert mpeg to wmv and cant find one but there were alot for avi to dvd.
