My ears have been 0ga for two years now and have never given me any real problems, aside from lymphing for a week following the last stretch. Now they're being complete assholes *no pun intended*and lymphing all over the place. I take the plug out and within a half hour the hole is fairly well sealed with crusties, which I must say is quite nasty.

I'm healthy when it comes to physical health, though my mental state is less than suicidal, to be blunt. I'm chronically depressed, so this state of mind is not new and has never caused my lobes to get so mad.

As for jewelry, I never had probs with acrylic, so I can't see why glass or SSS would provoke a reaction *also I'd been wearing the SSSplugs for a year before issues began*

Anyone have any idea what could PO my lobes like this? Anyone know how I could fix it?

I thought I had made it clear, the last time I stretched was two years ago... I don't think they're mad about that.

Acrylic is generally bad for piercings, talk to a piercer, they'll tell you why. I like acrylic in my tongue, though, it's better than having a huge, heavy barbell there *it's an 8ga*

And the depression, everyone deals different. I make fun of myself because if I didn't I'd go insane. Don't like meds, don't like fresh wounds either. Better to look at it more like a cruel cosmic joke than anything else. If I didn't, I'd be an attention whore, and I can't have that.

I agree with Sarah. Get it checked out. Your doctor can also help with your depression if you talk to them about it.

I don't know too much about stretching, but i know a little about piercings in general. I've never stretched anything, but had lots of piercings.

Have you been sick? I know my tragus reacted very badly to a respiratory infection. Got a huge bump on it. When I went to the piercing shop, they said it was likely due to the illness, but also could possibly be due to changes in the weather. The air is dryer. Also can be related to emotional stress. It is the holidays. I know they said with my nipple piercings especially, lymph production would be effected by monthly hormonal changes, and that i could expect increased lymph around the time of my period for quite a while, and possibly forever.

I guess you could try saline soaks. That seems to be the answer for everything.

As far as the depression goes, do whatever you need to do to get you through the day. I know where you're coming from. I hate the drugs, and honestly I never really felt like they helped me. And I don't want to talk to someone either.

maybe take out and go down to the next smallest size? or start doing the sea salt soaks again to help with the lymping and any toher problems that may arise. I would go see a piercer if I were you and see what they recommend. i think im going to only go down to a 12g or evern 10g. im only at 16 now.. not much effort yet lol

hope your ears feel and get better!

sorry i dont know much about sttretched ears =(

Yeah, its simple, your lobes don't like you crimping their style. Maybe they like acrylic... and they liked their last size. As for your depression... you seem to have quite a bit of humor for someone "chronically depressed"
In conclusion I think you are trying too much for your ears, take it easy on them. That's what they are trying to tell ya.
