How fast does cartilage grow?

I smashed my nose playing soccer and i have had reconstructive surgery. however becuase my nose was smashed in it looked abnormally small, so my doctor fixed the bone and added a cartilage graft to increase the size, but it still looks smaller than before, he told it would grow a few milimeters but didnt say when does anybody know?

Cartilage grows slowly, so give it a good 6 months to settle down;

Be patient. My husband has broken his nose 5 times (due to football)
It has taken a while, but is fine now
