A weird guy at work likes me. He's been asking me to go to church with him. He hugged me and nobody else on Christmas Eve. Whenever I am near him, he stops whatever he is doing and just stares at me. Yesterday he put his arm thru mine and escorted me into the breakroom to talk to me. He tries to have long conversations with me. Today he asked me for my phone number. I didn't know what to say, I acted all stupid and said I still live with my parents and I didn't want anyone calling me there. I was trying to be nice but I really don't like it. I don't want to cause any trouble, what should I do?

Look for another job. And tell your boss to get to the bottom of the matter of this obsession. No job is worth the trouble a stalker will cause in your life.
Never give him an opportunity to talk with you again without the boss being present. You will lose a little more each time you do.
Read the book "I know you really love me". Its scary, but it spells out things you need to know.

why not thinking about him more carefully. There are few persons in one's life who really love us. Test him and let him prove himself of course if you also like him at least a little. Otherwise tell him wise sentences to show him you are not going to look at him differently and he is the same as your other male friends for example if he say something special to you, you can tell him that your another male friend under the name of Mr. X said the same story and bla bla.... Also you should tell him frankly that you don't like any male frind hug you or .... Maybe you should escape from his sight and say to him that you are very busy these days and you cannot have long conversations, but in a way not to hurt his probable feeling..

Be honest with him in a tactful way. Don't let him put his arm through yours if you don'w want him to. You have to put your foot down to this guy. He obviously thinks that there is a chance, he asked for your number. Draw the line safely.

Well you can tell him you have a boyfriend and your not interested in pursueing things like that, but better yet you should jus tell him you don't like him like that or are not interested. The only problem with the latter is what if hes crazy and might do something wierd in his reaction to that...

Tell him you don't like to be hugged. Remove his arm when he trys to take yours. If you continue to be "nice", he will stalk and stare at you. If he continues tell the boss.

first, investigate and make sure he is a stalker. Make sure that you're not just imagining it. Then, if he is, tell your boss!!!
