HeLp Me Please. Okay, I am 18 years old, and i guess I caught a cold. I am so stubborn and i won't take ANY type of medicine. wether it be prescription or off the counter...like motril or tyelonal. I will only take it when i am in dire neeeeed of it. And i usually put up with pain, cuz i let my body naturally fight it. Is that even a good idea? Okay...now the problem is.....I cant stop figiting around...my legs feel like they need to be stretced and my back feels like it needs to be moved. This never happened before, so im wondering if it had anything to do with being sick? I feel so much better when i do those HARD leg bending exercises. It actually feels good for my legs...rather than hurt. Why am i so shaky, and cant sit still. I am almost on my period too...maybe that could have something to do with it??

Pleaaaase responddd...i would really like to know! thankkkzzz

honey, you don't have to take aspirin for a cold, the cold will go away by itself provided you are healthy. aspirin, Tylenol etc. just make you feel better. Who knows why you are fidgety? Do some exercise and run around.....it will pass.

It really sounds like you need to take some medicine...at least something like tylenol- that way at least your legs would stop twitching or your body would calm down a little.

If you dont take medicine, I would suggest laying on your back or sitting up with your legs strecthed out and just talking really deep breaths to calm yourself. Get a glass of ice water. Sometimes when I'm just restless and shaky, I do that and I can fall asleep a lot quicker.

I don't know if that helps any, it is just a personal method. I hope that you feel better!
