Then why don't more people use it when asking or responding to a question?

It is easy.
I am assuming people either don't care or don't realize how atrocious their spelling and grammar is. And yes, it DOES affect the way people read and understand a person's questions and answers. And a rudimentary spell-checker might not find mistakes such as mistaken word forms (you're instead of your, etc.).

It is very easy
but i think answer is more important then spelling
and i don't think that spelling has much important if the text is readable in form
