When u notice your pets need to use the lav or u think they do take them to that spot and wait for them if they wonder off to far u gotta bring them back to that place If one goes there give them a little treat and hopeful the other dog shall catch on. You have to do this for about a month unless they can catch on fast each time they go there to use the lav give them a treat and say good boy/girl and rub there belly or stroke there back. I'd say they got to use the lav about ever 30 mins since they are still puppies they can't hold it well and please don't yell at them if they don't go there just say No and take them to where they should go. If u yell at the poor puppies that will scare them and make them pee somewhere Mostly where u are yelling.

I agree with the first answer. Crate training is the easiest and most effective. Look it up on the internet. You should also becareful not to make your dog think that pooping is a bad thing by punishing her when she does it in the wrong place otherwise she/he will just learn to try and hide it from you. Just use crate training and lots of praise when she does it right... good luck

whenever he poops, make sure that you like say something like NO! and then later on take the poop and place it in the place where you want your dog to go. that way the dog will recognize his scent next time, and he will go there. and then he will also pee in the same place where he poops. it worked for my dog. he has a place to go and he goes around there. it just takes some time.

Depends a little on the size of the pups. Are they going to be big dogs, more of an outside dog type? Then they need to spend some time outside, weather permitting.Do you have a fenced in area for them?If so,take them out there immediately when they WAKE UP,after they have EATEN,after they have PLAYED ROUGH.Thats when they need to go potty.Positive reinforcement works well.Good dog! Followed by a treat,a nice hug and some petting, when they go in their spot, will help.
If these are smaller dogs, more indoor-only dogtypes, papertraining may be a start since it is wintertime.Set up a gate or the like to keep them in a room with a washable floor surface(like a kitchen or laundry room).Set some papers on the floor,on top of puppypads. When the pups start using the papers, say good dog, pet, give a treat.Move papers closer and closer to the door, until the pups go towards the door when needing out.Move a used paper outside the door(put a rock on it to hold it there) and let the pups out every time they go towards the door.If they use the paper inside the door, pet, treat. If they use the paper outside the door, pet, treat.Eventually you can tell when your pups need to go,because they will go TO THE DOOR.
So they are housebroken!
You may be able to use the papertrick with larger pups too, because it is cold outside....

take your dogs out side every hour (or less) and tell them to pee or poop if that wont work watch them for 5 min then your dogs should pee/poop take them every hour. and after about 2/3 weeks it should learn to pee/poop.

you need to buy 2 seperate crates for them. and make sure you are taking them out several times a day, especially right after you take them out of their crates, and after feeding and playing. sometimes you might have to stand outside with them for a long time but wait until they do go and praise them and tell them what a good dog they are. when you're taking them outside tell them let's go potty while you're going out the door. they are puppies and they are going to have accidents, it's part of owning a puppy. ask your mom if she remembers you being a baby and pottytraining you. it's basically the same, a lot of patience and good luck and praising for doing well. don't punish them when they go inside but rather praise them for going outside. best of luck, ask your mom to help you and you should have 2 nicely trained puppies about going potty outside. and when they're older and your vet says it safe for them take them to training class, this will help bond you with the dogs better and will help you prevent other puppy and dog problems later on also!

also when praising them when they go potty outside, make sure you wait until they are done, because if you praise them while they are pottying sometimes they will stop and run to you, and then piddle once inside.

Crate training first, then train to relieve outdoor by ringing a bell.

Keep them in a crate, taking them out RIGHT AWAY and placing them where you would want them to go. Praise them when they do and put them back in crate.. do this for 6 weeks or so and they will be trianed. Read up on crate training.

I used puppy pads to train my pup then moved the puppy pad outside. I kept making the puppy pad smaller but kept it in the same place in the yard this way the pup knew that was her spot. Now there is no pad and she still knows that is her spot.
