24hrs but u have to finish all u cannot stop if u feel good that way ur body will get smart and build a defensive sheild so if u really need it next time ur body will reject it.

It depends on
-Your Body
- How sick you are
- what antibiotics your perscribed
- if you are on any other medications
- your diet.

The most important thing I can EVER say though is make sure you finnish your script. Too many people are coming off antibiotics before the script is finnished- Just because you are feeling better doesn't mean the infection is gone- by coming off early it's like vaccinating the bacteria!

Some take three or more days and others show improvement within 24 hours. It just depends on meds and your body response.

They work over a period of time... depends upon your type of infection and how bad it is ... usually a couple of days though.. Good Luck!
