Why dosen't my Video work on Windows Movie Maker?

Whwn i play a clip straight from my collections it plays fine but when i add it to the storyboard the audio works, but the video won't play, does anyone know why?

the files i'm using have worked before, many times, now they just suddenly stoped working

yah it happens
u just play it in other player
and to add it in ur story board u need to make it in clips then it will let u enter it the story board
