I'm trying to resize images for myspace because it says my picture is too big and it is over 600 kb. how do i resize it on irfanview or Photobucket??? is my camera causing this??

I usually just open the file with Paint, then resize it there. Save as, then add that re-sized picture.

For IrfanView;

Go to Image>Resize/Resample or Crtl+R and just enter numbers like 300x 400 pixels or lesser number.

And I kinda agree with Paintedrain2. One of the simplest and effective way to resize your image is to open it using Paint in accessories and just click Save As. You'll be surprised too see your image size shrink remarkably!

in photobucket there is a resize button, click on the image you want to resize so it brings up just that image, there is a list along the top of the picture of things you can do, i think the 2nd is resize. just go down one level at a time, you CAN'T undo it once you resize it
