No.
If you think about it, that is very obviously false.
However! For cold blooded animals, it is different.
For example, an alligator CAN have meat rot in its
stomach if it does not get enough external heat to give
it the energy to digest.

I eat beef and I am regular in my digested system and if I feel
that I need to really do a number ,I would use a laxative to help
clean me right on up. I know it sounds gross, but it is true, some-
thing has to help with my digested system. Catch my drift. Just make sure you have no where to go, until your all cleaned up.

If that's true, then EVERYTHING we eat would leave traces that rot. It may happen to a certain extent for people who don't eat a balanced diet, but if you eat right and exercise, you don't have to worry about it.
As for the person who said you would get every nutrient by eating vegan, WRONG-O. It is, for practical purposes, impossible to get the full sequence of essential amino acids (essential, meaning the ones your body doesn't make naturally) from vegetable protien.
Eat meat, it's good for you. The worst thing to happen to us was to be told by the government and "experts" that we need to load up on breads and other carbs, and reduce protein and fat intake. THAT has made America FAT. The "Food Guide Pyramid" is absolute CRAP, don't pay any attention to it.

You can digest beef. It's just another carb, protein, fat source. Humans are omnivorous-meaning we can eat almost anything and get some nutritional value from it. True, beef generally has more saturated fat than fish, seafood, turkey and chicken choices. But, in moderation it won't kill you. I eat very little beef myself. What will kill you is eating too many calories-even stuff that never had a face-and not getting enough exercise.

I have heard that red meat is just about one of the hardest things for our bodies to digest and that it takes longer than other foods, but as for it rotting in our bodies that's a new one on me. I would think the acids and digestive juices, etc., sure do a number on anything we eat, but never heard it described as rotting before.

I am a meat eater and eat very little to no salad or vegetables. I recently had a health check and my results (Cholesterol, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure etc) came out a long was in front of my healthy eating friends. If you didn't eat food that someone said was bad for you, you would eat nothing. No, meat does not rot in your body.
