Awww dear I am so sorry to hear, but glad you are in the clear. I honestly don't know of some exact product names but the best advice I can give you is that there is still hope and to look up 'how to remove scars' in google.com. I always see products in stores, such as lotions and such and maybe the doctors have a better formula, but you should seriously do some researching, and fast! Good luck!

I have found that Pure African Shea butter smooths and fades many scars significantly. This Shea butter is often found in health food stores, African street festivals and at local street vendors. You know it's pure because you may see the Shea butter in part of the tree. The vendor may scoop the butter into a plastic container right before your eyes. I have used yellow and white Shea butter. I feel that the yellow one is stronger. However, the vendors say both colors have the same rich properties. In addition this shea butter will smell peanutty, but don't fret if you use the shea as a base then add your favorite or usual lotion and a fragrance you'll be fine. Hope this has helped.

Some scars never fully heal but you can dimish them alot. Pure vitamin E oil, Walmart sells it for about $2.50, put on daily rubbed in will help. It has to be the pure oil though not lotions or creams. Also some of the stores have scar fading kits now they are pricey but they do help dimish them. I know the vitamin E works as I asked my doctor what to use after jaw surgery, I had a terrible scar down my face and used the oil daily for about a month and you can't hardly see it now unless you look very very closely with a magnifying glass. It worked wonders for me.

Congratulations on ending that terrible part of your life. This really works, but its gooey and doesn't smell to good...be thankful your aren"t trying to fade scars on your face (i did, put it was worth it), Aloe Vera plant is a miracle plant......you need the actual plant, they are very easy to take care of and they multiply quickly, so you'll have it around for awhile...I always have one in case it is needed. Just break off a piece of the plant...inside is a green, slimey substance...coat your scars with it daily, preferably after you shower..at night is best...just leave it on all night and rinse your arms in the morn...it won't happen in a week or two...depending on how bad they are and what type of skin you have...but, believe me it will make a big difference , you will notice a change pretty quick and it will get better the longer you use it. And, like someone else answered, lemon is also very good to use on them. I use aloe vera, diluted apple cider vinegar, lemons and egg whites on my adult acne (not all at the same time HA HA). Old remedies are amazing...they work and you don't have to spend a fortune....good luck.

I think there is some kind of treatment for this. Ask a doctor. Maybe a skin doctor can help. I wish I could be of more help, but I don't know much about this sort of thing.
I know how you feel to a point... My husband was a cutter, but he is rather dark complected... So the scars aren't all that visible on him.
Glad you stopped! That's the most important thing.
I wish you the best of luck! :-)))

Vitamin E oil is very good. Also, the same lotion used for stretch marks in pregnancy will also help hide the scars.

Also, there are prescription topicals that can really help you fade those.

BTW, don't tan, it will make the scars worse.

Congratulations for being an ex-cutter - you should be proud of yourself - I wish you all the best.

Get Concha Nacar and put some lemon in it.

Let it sit overnight.

Put the white liquid on your scar the next night.

Do it and you'll see the results in barely 3 months, max.

You should just get scar remover it really works but takes awhile its better than having it for the rest of your life though. No need to take surgery

no way. only time will fade them. you can try cocoa butter or vitamin e or over the counter scar treatments, but really all they do is moisturize them. one thing, though, is DO NOT TAN THEM (ie, wear a ton o sunscreen) because tanning will make them darker.
