If you plan on listening to the music and looking at the photos and videos on your iPod, then you should probably get iTunes. Just download the software for free from the apple site. Once you download it and install it, you need to set up the iPod to be used with iTunes.

If you want to be able to carry the files around on the iPod and don't plan on listening to the music while it's on the iPod, then you don't need iTunes. You can just connect it to the computer and then the computer will think that the iPod is a giant USB drive.

undergo this in thoughts, you could't use the two Apple and Microsoft purposes for a similar purpose. For audio format, iTunes helps .m4a and .mp3 archives. domicile windows Media participant helps .wma and .mp3 archives. so which you're able to transform the format to .m4a or .mp3 which could sync to iTunes. Plus, there is yet another difficulty, the songs could have been given copyright limit (so called DRM-digital rights administration), so which you're able to eliminate the limit in the beginning up and then convert the format. under is an academic approximately "the thank you to play iTunes track on domicile windows Media participant and vice versa", i think of this step via step handbook could help you (:

You must use iTunes, you must use iTunes. Your eyes are getting sleepy. You must use iTunes.

The computer guy? What were his qualifications? Maybe you can buy some software to do it but I have never heard of it.
