Fistly, real life shinobis and ninjas of the ninteenth century wore masks that were nothing like the ninja masks that we see in movies and popular media today.

But still, for a conventional movie 'ninja mask', just get a black cloth balaclava (such as a skiing mask, or a hunting balaclava), amd use scissors to modify the width of the eye-pieces.

Then, get a black cotton belt (from a dressing gown or anything else), write a japanese symbol of your choice (optional), and tie it on your head like a bandana.

here is what you do.

Take a white pillowcase and cut two eyeholes in the side of it so that when you put it on there is a pointy cone at the top of your head. Paint a cross on the pointy thing.

Wearing this mask should make you invisible, especially in poor urban neighborhoods, why don't you try it?
