I am from a large military family and know how hard it is for soldiers to be away home. Thanks for anyone who can help me with this.

We used to receive packages from church groups, corporations, private citizens, the USO. You name it. The only thing I can think of to recommend to you might be the USO as a starting place. Like I said, we were on the receiving end, not the sending. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Go to www.anysoldier.com

It has information on what certain soldiers are requesting as far as care packages and where to send them. The site also encourages just writing letters and starting a pen pal friendship to help out the soldiers. If you want specifically a Marine, go to www.anymarine.com . These are great sites really focused on helping the troops.

You can also check with your local VFW or American Legion as well as the Reserve Units.
