Keep him inside away from your car. He shouldn't be outside anyhow.

I heard that someone successfully persuaded some neighborhood cats from jumping on his car's hood by the simple trick of placing a rubber toy snake on the car hood - right where the cats couldn't miss spotting it. Cats may have thought the snake was real and avoided the darned thing. Maybe you can try that?

Cats love cars. They sit on the area of the hood where the engine lies underneath. They love the heat. Sometimes they even snuggle underneath, paying no heed to the danger .
Move out to the city. There are no cats in the city underground garages.

You'll probably never stop your cat..or the neighbor's cat..or all the strays in your town off of your car..cats LOVE to lay on cars...must be the heat or something...but..since you'll never be able to stop her..and yelling at her will only put a strain on your relationship with her..buy a car cover..this way she cay lay on your car..and your car will stay nice and shiney! Your windows will probably stay cleaner longer too come to think of it.

ha ha mine do the same thing....I live on a farm and we have farm cats who love to sit on the warm hood
however I also have 2 cats who I have successfully managed on keeping off my car - very easily infact.. they never go outside... best solution...
