yes, you are stripping your hair of its natural oils that help to keep it strong and healthy- unless you are doing sweaty dirty work or your hair is overly oily, washi it every other day or every third day.

I wash my hair every other day so that I don't get a build-up of shampoo and conditioner in my hair. Morever, the hair produces natural oil that is good for the hair. In order to make the hair grow it's essential to make sure you massage the scalp when washing it. For healthy hair it's also important to get the ends done every two or three months. It grows in better when the ends are done regularly and it looks longer and healthier. Hope this helps.

It depends on your hair type, as well as the shampoo that you use. If you hair is very dry or over processed, you should not shampoo daily unless it is dirty (such as worked out or it was very hot which made your scalp generate sweat that day. If it goes flat, you could mist with water and dry it on a low setting. If your hair is normal or greasy, then shampooing every day is fine, as long as you condition it afterward.

No, it is not! Theres a majority that I'm wrong. Washing your hair makes you hair absolutely flawless, it also prevents split ends and dead ends. If it doesn't work out, immediately stop. Shampoo always when washing your hair, its guaranteed to work. It also helps hair grow longer.

no it is not bad for your hair...use the proper shampoo and a charifying shampoo when needed...add a bit of conditioner and use deep moisturizer as needed...let your judgement be the guide...have you been working out? wash it! does it feel dry? deep condition! looks dull? clarify!
I have washed it daily or twice daily for over 30 years and still don't color my hair and it is very soft and manageable.

They say it can dry out your hair although you can use conditioners and shampoo that is intended for daily use. Personally, I wash my hair everyday. If I don't, my hair will look just awful (flat and lifeless) cuz my hair is extremely oily.

YES, THE HELL IT IS! If you have curly, wavy or ethnic hair, you hair has less oils than straight hair. Washing your hair can strip your hair of necessary oils leading it to be dry, breakage and dead. straight hair should wash more because their hair accumulates oils faster. BUT IF YOU HAVE KINKY, CURLY OR WAVY HAIR DON'T WASH IT EVERYDAY! IF YOU NEED TO GET RID OF SWEAT, COMB YOUR HAIR THROUGH WATER WHEN YOU SHOWER BECAUSE ALL SWEAT IS IS WATER AND SALT!

sometimes it can really dry your scalp out, esp. during the winter, so shower with warm water, instead of hot, and you should have less dandruff. hehe, sorry that didn't really answer your question. it's not very bad for your hair, no, but it might better if lyou just showered every other day.
