I'm guessing you want to keep a certain amount of length, right?
I have long hair, although not as long as yours. I often wear my hair pulled back in some fashion, so I like it long enough that I can easily put it in a ponytail, braid, bun, etc. Beyond that, I haven't worried much about how it's cut.
Layers are good if you "do" your hair on a regular basis (gel or mouss, curlers or curling iron, etc...). They facilitate better volume and lift.

I had really long hair and i got it layered and angled and I really liked the way that it looked. I found this website that shows a bunch of different pictures of long hair hairstyles (http://www.2hairstyles.com/long2.shtml). Having your hair angled will help with the shape of your face and the layered look will help give variety to your hair as opposed to just having long boring hair. best of luck!

i think of the main suitable part of do along with your hair Is to characteristic some medium layers to the hair and a few short layers for the quantity you go with for and in case you sense it somewhat is to thick get it thinned out it won't look uneven and notice approximately get 2 to 3 inches off the hair which will make the medium and short layers look greater organic. i wish I helped (:

All i can suggest is go crew cut, you will not have to worry about shampoo, or combing it..just tell your stylish " chop chop" she'll get the idea.No matter what language she speaks.
