I got a really good one. I did this one myself. it is scientifically proven that gum chewing can increse the brain productivity in a person. When a person is not eating there is no flow of adrenalin going to the brain. when a person eats the flow of adrenalin starts and the person can think easier. chewing gum is the same concept. it tricks the brain and adrenalin is sent so the person can think much faster and that is what you should use. lol
Good Luck

If you live near the coast, you could study a month's worth of the moon's pull on the ocean. (I did this for a college astronomy class by measuring distances from the same point during high and low tide every day and comparing them with the phases of the moon).
or
Do an experiment with psychology (a health science)like setting up a survey about a certain subject. For example, do a questionnaire about television. Include questions about the subject's age and what types of shows they watch, how many hours per day, if they think television is good or bad or neither...things like that. Then, compile all your data and do graphs on how many people watch say, 8 hours a day....or a certain age group prefers westerns to cartoons...etc.etc.
All you need to do is create the survey, and hand it to about 100 people....(it sounds like a lot, but it's easier than you think...you could give them to teachers, parents, friends, etc.)
or
if you need a more physical science, you could build different structures from different mediums, or use different architectual techniques to see which kind is best in an earthquake, typhoon, tornado, etc.
good luck! and remember, science can be really fun...as another person has suggested the glowing pickle! How cool is that :)
