is this a good idea? it says it will wash out in 8-10 shampoos...i'm just afraid since my hair is light it might come out more orange.. and then not wash out in 10 days. SUGGESTIONS?

You only live once - open the box and go at it. If you don't like the results you can always wash your hair with DAWN dish washing soap as it should remove most of the color.

no longer plenty. you have got a purple hue under some lighting fixtures furniture and out in sunlight hours. With dark brown hair you will ought to strip the colour to a blonde and then colour it--especially harsh. I even have dark blonde hair and the purple that my stylist put in it did no longer make it a real purple and she or he instructed me relating to the strip and colour.

I don't think it will wash out all the way. It will be more permanent since your hair is so light.
