Ok, I've been on before asking advice on how to apologize to someone I said something horrible too. My question now is it's been one month, since last I spoke to this person or seen him. The New Year is coming and I would really like to reconcil with this person, and move pass this hopefully. So is it to late to write my ex-friend a letter asking him to forgive me?

It's never too late for an apology and a letter is a great way to do so. He may not forgive you but at least you tried and it clears your conscience and let's you move on. So by all means give the apology if it's deserved and if it's accepted great, and if not move on with life and know you did your best.

Honestly its never too late. I'd rather somebody be really late than to never receive and apology at all. If you come across as being truly genuine- they'll forgive you. It may just take time. Good luck!

It won't hurt to try. But depending on what you did and how it affected him, he might not accept it. I personally think there are times when it's too late to say you're sorry, but you never know until you try. Even if he doesn't accept, hopefully you can relax a little knowing you tried.

If you really mean to apologize, then no its never to late.....the person doesn't have to accept it but its worth a try, at least you would be doing the right thing.

It's never too late to say that your sorry it's up to him to accept or not to accept the main thing is that you said it.

Go ahead and write that letter, its the least you can do. Just be prepared that your ex-friend may not respond to it.

Send him an E-Greeting card for the holiday season and at the end wrote :" I am sorry"
