Ok I am not trying to make trouble and I am sorry that it seems this way.I forgot to type why I asked this question. It seems lately that more and more people attack Islam and muslims and other religions in general but Muslims are the target right now. GO to the religion section and you will find a lot of questions attacking muslim people ( all of them). I just asked this question and some of christain people are so quick to point the finger at us muslim people but dont realize that they are not being true to there religion. christanity is a religion of peace as Islam is too. It does not say in Bible to call muslims bad people because of some radicals who went and blew them self's up. Suposedly Bible teaches Forgivness, love. Where is that love now when a lot fo innocent people and childern are dying in Iraq and Iran? because of the War the benefits only USA! in every way..

Yes, real Christian's with real Faith do follow the Bible.

The bible is your manual for how to live your life the way God intended. Bible stands for:
B - Basic
I - Instructions
B - Before
L - Leaving
E - Earth

"Nothing in all creation can hide from him. Everyone is naked and exposed before his eyes. This is the God to whom we must
explain all that we have done."
Hebrews 4:13

God gave all of us the option to choose death or life and in the bible He said choose life. Which means a true Christian will obey the 10 commandments.
Its like not obeying the rules that are set by people. If you run a
red light you will get a ticket or cause an accident, that's not following the rules. If no one followed rules in this world what would happen? If you don't follow the rules in the bible then you will have to deal with the
consequences when the time comes to face them.
All the things you listed that people do are a sin, and when you sin you open up the doors for the
enemy/devil to enter your heart. That will make you become a non-believer and you will start to think that its OK to do the things you listed. Some people are not Christians they just hide behind the name to give the real righteous Christians a bad name.
The world is filled with awesome and amazing Christians, but
you just haven't had the chance to meet one that will lead you to many.
Bible says:

"Be careful dear friends. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, as long as it is called "today," so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ."
Hebrews 3:12-14

"If you obey the Lord your God by keeping all the commands I am giving you today, the Lord your God will exalt you above all
the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God."
Deuteronomy 28:1-2

"Evil words come from an evil heart and defile the person who says them. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, theft,
lying, and slander. These are what defile you."
Matthew 15:18-19

YES real Christian's do follow the Bible.

The Bible is perfect
The Bible is true
The Bible gives us wisdom
The Bible can be trusted
The Bible is holy
The Bible is a Christian's spiritual weapon
The Bible judges our life
The Bible helps us grow spiritually

They are sinners just like anyone else. Although they are supposed to be of a new spirit, many still fight with their old ways. God still loves them no matter how far they have slid back. It is wrong, I do admit, and it is what gives being a Christian a bad name, but the fact is that everyone makes mistakes. Look at Adam and Eve. Sin was brought into this world by man. And look at what little they had to be tempted with, an "apple". There was no such thing as rock n' roll, drugs, porn, murder, sex, theft, only free will, which is what lead to one thing after another resulting in the society that we live in today.

We are all sinners, same as everyone else.

True Christians do not like sinning against God, however, and have accepted His forgiveness. That is what makes Christians different, and that is why we will be joining our Father in heaven someday.

I am a Christian, and I have never done any of those sinful things you listed.

Please be aware that there are many people in the world who claim to be Christians just so people will not force religion on them, but they do not follow the word of God. These are not true Christians, they are hypocrites.

You are painting with too wide a brush. Do not judge an entire religion just by the acts of a few people.

Certainly not all of them. But it is important to remember that not all who claim Him know Him. Also that God may be changing them and He is just not through. I mean when you are born-again you do change some things immediately and others later and remember He turned the water to wine so I guess drinking in moderation is OK it is when you let the alcohol consume and change you that it is bad. My grand mothers were both virgins at marriage and one grandfather was and they were Christians. I myself have had multiple divorces but as BB King says that was before love came to town or before I was born again of spirit. All the Christians that I've known well enough to judge have been kind and generous. My grandparents sent several people through various universities that otherwise wouldn't have gotten to go. He volunteered many hours at the YMCA working on some old steam boiler as he was steam engineer. He did various services for the church and paid his tithes. I never wear slutty clothing although when I was young before I found the Lord I may have dressed for sex appeal but I don't think I did. I do cuss and as a matter of fact I am trying to stop but I'm old and set in my ways and sometimes I don't even realize it. It is true I have committed many sins since becoming a Christian but I'm better than when He got started changing me and expect to improve as time goes by through His grace and not my own efforts. What about you are you overflowing with love for your neighbor and patient with their mistakes because that is the main thing. Love the Lord your God above all others and love your neighbor as yourself. Yes sometimes I think evil thoughts toward others but the Spirit of the Lord will not let me continue and I have to stop. It is really hard sometimes though as some people like pedophiles and such seem so worthy of my hate and distain but if I am loving the Lord I have to love them. I'm just not perfect yet but I do have people in my life that lived fine examples of Christian Life so I know you are wrong. Also some people are just saying that they are Christians and they don't really know Him.

These are some pretty serious accusations considering you don't know all Christians. Tell me, is this your lifestyle? After all you are the one who mentioned it! It figures you are muslim. I can't imagine any other religion saying this!

I use to do some of these things, as I admit I am a sinner, like drink, smoke, but tell us all, DO YOU DO ANY OF THE THINGS MENTIONED OR ARE YOU PERFECT?

Just to answer your question, no I don't smoke, drink, cuss, I dress very conservative, I don't lie to gain money, and I am married to a Christian man. We are both born again Christians and live a Christian lifestyle. Also the only one you got right was the part about us going to church. We don't go to A Church, but we have church service in our group at home. This keeps our faith stronger.

I readily confess that I have even done some of these things, that's why I sought the savior in the first place. So, I could examine myself and ask forgiveness from the Lord and turn away from sin. Am I perfect, No! And there is not one that can claim to be perfect. The only perfect man that ever walked the earth was Christ. Am I all high and mighty on my righteous horse? No, I know I am a sinner, but I also know I have a savior who died for me and my sins. Does that mean I can continue sinning, No! But, if i make the mistake of sinning I know I have Christ to turn to.

Christians are like all other Humans, in that they are prone to making Mistakes. I believe the true meaning of being a Christian is to be "Christ Like", which tells me that to do so, one would truly have to walk the Path of Jesus, which none of us can really do. I believe that Jesus really existed, and that he said some really cool things about how we should be, (before the people who wrote down what he might or might not have said) which says to follow a spiritual path, and be thankful for the little things in life, and follow the Golden Rules. I believe that the message was very simple, so those who try to follow His way, should ease up on everyone else that disagrees with you, and allow yourselves to be Human, as the Divine is next to impossible to gain, and I personally don't believe that Jesus expected that of us, he just expected us to try, and not to judge others along the way.

Christianity was meant to attract those of a 'sinful' nature. In Jesus' time, this usually meant preaching to the poor, the downtrodden, the socially outcast. This doesn't mean he expected them to suddenly become pillars of society. It simply meant that, by giving such people a chance, they could become more than people believed them to be.

One can argue that because Jesus places himself as sheppard in charge of a wayward flock, their 'failure' is understood to be part of why he so offered himself. Like the apostle Peter (who failed Jesus and his teachings numerous times), it wasn't about inviting only the best people, but everyone. Jesus was meant to offer himself to people who were wayward, who would fall into pride, sloth, gluttony, etc etc etc, so that his forgiving them over and over again would be the ultimate test of his teachings? No matter how often they 'fail', they always have the option of returning.

It does not make them 'riteous' when they fail, but it means that they are not forever 'banned' from riteousness eventhough they fail.

As Christians we are to look different and act different from the rest of the world. We are in the world but we should have not part in the sins of the world. Saying that, different people are at different levels of Christianity! We are sinners saved by grace. Sin does not have dominon over us.
It is a shame that Christians live like the world. Our lives should shine so that others may see Jesus and want to come to know Him!
