Do GPS systems cost money per month,such as the
TomTom One ----or-----Garmin StreetPilot c330 ?

The handheld GPS receivers like Garmin Map 76 do not have any fees attached.

general GPS, no i think tom tom has a fee. i think tomtom and ones like it are too new to be any good. m waiting a few years for the kinks to get fixed. never buy a first generation gadget!

Not that I am aware of. You may have to pay for traffic info via XM or SIRIUS, but that is optional.
