Portuguese is the oficial and the only language we speak in Brazil. Brazil is the only country in South American speaking portuguese. Everybody else speaks spanish.

Portuguese Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are very different in pronunciation and some words differ, kind of like English and American dialects of English. Also Portuguese is very much like Spanish, so if you already speak some Spanish, then learning Portuguese will be a breeze!
