I'm taking my little girl to the doc in the morning.. I just changed her doc from a family doc to a ped doc. What can i expect for the 15 month check up.

should i give her some tyonel just in case she gets shots.. the doc told me it ok to give it to her before checkups when she has shots but will she get shot this time... single mom in some need of help

thankyou everyone.. It whent really well.. This doc was wonderful..I learnt a lot from her. Shes got a lot of appt set up that the other doc should of done a while ago but wantld me to go to the UofM.. but it can be done her. she just did not want to deal with it.She and i have a medical problem but it no BIG deal.. anyways shes helping me learn more info on it..She got a dtep shot today.. and her ears cleaned out. Shes going to get an eye test hearing test done as well.. and a ct done becuse of are medical inssues.... It whent really well.. shes 20ld and a 1/2 oz it about time.. 28 in long

well, its obvious she's getting shots! i hate that part of the dr visits! other than that, they'll weigh and measure her, ask what she's been eating, ask what kind of things she's doing (what words is she saying, if she's walking ok) that kind of stuff. its short and quick, they know babies dont like the dr's office. i also switched from a regular dr to a peditrician, and they are soo much in tune to whats going on, they really enjoy having her in there! its great that you switched, they specialize in babies, and they'll love hearing about how much she's grown from visit to visit. good luck with the visit tomorrow, take her out for ice cream after thoes nasty shots!

You'll probably have to answer questions about how she's eating and how often she goes in her diaper. She'll be weighed and measured. Not sure what else! It's been awhile since my kids' 15month checkups~they're 21 and 15!!

Usually at 15 months they get their measles, mumps, and ruebella shot. If she's walking, they will see if her feet turn in or out when walking.
