i am a highschoolstudent iwant to know do i need to do good in highschool to go to become a doctor ?

Doing well in High School is to train yourself to do the tasks you'll encounter in college. The better grades give you a better standing in the choices you'll have for colleges. As you're in college you'll need to maintain fairly high grades to secure internships and entrance into secondary schools. So doing well or "good" in High School may not be vital, but it'll make life a lot easier.

You can go to any high school, as long as you learn. From high school you go (usually) into a pre-med program in college, from there into medical school, from there into residency, from there into debt, but hopefully a career in medicine.

What you need are good overall skills. Analytical skills (solving problems), people skills (doctors need to deal with families, not just patients), business skills if you want your own practice, language skills (your question was poorly typed - if English is your only language then you need some work - if it's a second language, you're much better off).

I would think that all your subjects would matter, but math, science, english would be at the top. If you are unsure about your grades or what you need to do good in then check with a college or university. I hope that you have good luck in becoming a dr.

I misread the question the first time. You don't *need* to, but it would be very helpful. Things just get harder as you go along and if you haven't developped the necessary skills (subject-based as well as general, like study skills) before going into college/university, then you'll find college difficult and it'll be hard to get into a medical program.
