I have one all the way grown in and one coming in (painfully), and they're both on the bottom, and I've seen/felt evidence of them for a couple of years now. I have seen/felt nothing in the top. Could that mean I will not get them? I'm 18.

They are probably there and you may never see or feel them. I had 3 of 4 removed. The 4th one (upper) I made them leave because it will NEVER come through the gums. I cant see it, I cant feel it, but it is definitely there on the x-rays. Have your dentist show you your films. You may never need to have the upper ones removed.

A full set of teeth is 32. You would have 3 molars on each side. If you have 2 molars on each side then these are definitely wisdom teeth coming in. That means 2 on the lower right, 2 on the lower left, 2 on the upper left and 2 on the upper right. IT is possible for you to have wisdom teeth now. If your other teeth came in early then these are coming in early. God bless you!

Yes. I got my wisdom teeth pulled at 21 yrs old and the x rays indicated that I had only 3 wisdom teeth. I'm 24 and I still have never seen my 4th wisdom tooth.

I may not have any! I had teeth pulled 20 years ago when I got braces, and either I just have a bunch of space in my mouth so I've never had any wisdom teeth trouble, or I just don't have them. I am going to ask my dentist, now that you've piqued my curiosity. I suggest you do the same. :)

Yes! I have 3, My husband has 3, my daughter had 2-3 I think 2. I believe that sometimes you can get them later but probably not. You should get them removed if at all possible though. I got my daughter's removed before she wasn't on our insurance anymore. Now she is VERY glad she did. I am 46 and can't afford to do it and they really bug me! Plus the roots can grow very deep the longer you wait and its more painful and sometimes they don't get all the root so you can have problems. So get them out now!!!!!

I have only three wisdom teeth, and they are no closer to coming in now at 25 than they were at 15. So anything is possible. Mine are only visible on x-rays and are still not even calcified.

wisdom teeth could come in at any age so that doesn't necessarily mean that you wont get them and yes it is also possible that you will only have two wisdom teeth

My dad only had 2. It's probably just evolution. Pretty soon we won't even have wisdom teeth!
