Ask yourself these questions: What type of budget do I have? Are my parents avid travelers or home bodies? Depending on their age and capabilities, determines as to what you can do for them. It may be something as simple as everyone getting together for dinner at their home!

Plan an anniversary dinner for them, or a Valentine's celebration.
You and a friend or sibling get together and cook the best dinner possible for your parents. Have candles on the dinner table, a couple of roses and a card explaining how much you appreciate them and love them.

Cook a nice dinner for them, decorate a room, serve them the food, while playing their favorite music in the background. Or...if you think they'd like to have something material to look at and remember by always seeing it around, get them something special (like maybe a clock, etc.) and have their names engraved into it.

Why don't you let them travel to another country of their choice? A country that they really wanted to visit ever since time began. Pay for all of their expenses. You can also go with them for some family bonding.

Plan a family vacation, like a cruise or something. Take them out during weekends, like movies or picnics. Whatever they like. Make their fav food for them often. Whatever their children cook, is delicious, because you cook with love.
