I used these with my son 2 years ago and was fairly satisfied. I was wondering if there is anything new and improved out there.I am 35 weeks pregnant with a girl.

We loved them. Our daughter didn't have any trouble with them and they come apart into so many pieces that they were really easy to clean. Our only issue was we would lose just one part of the bottle and then didn't know where to find a replacement. But I sorta agree with the other poster your child is really the one who chooses.

Actually it was up to my son, not us.... he just couldn't latch onto the Playtex Ventaire bottles. So we tried the Avent bottles- they do not leak if you properly put the lid on... also, they are supposed to help the gas and are used for colicky babies as well, and also are similar to the breast. Anyways, it was up to him, and since he couldn't latch onto the playtex ones, we tried the Avent ones, and he did just fine, and I actually loved them too... easy to use and clean! Do what works best for your baby though! All babies are different, so try out the Playtex ones first and if your baby is ok, then go for it! :)
I also liked how the Avent bottles - you could get an attachment so it's like a sippy cup they can hold onto the handles and drink from the spout instead of the nipple.... this helped when practicing sippy cups with him. It also helped him hold onto the bottle better.

nopes..those are going to be better for ya, they have avent bottles out but they leak alot & cause more gas for babies..
