Reading is the best way to improve writing. When you read, you get word spelling, sentence structures and correct use of punctuation. So, try to read as much as you can: newspapers, magazines, short stories, novels, etc. You´ll see that you´ll do a lot better in writing.

The best way to improve your writing skills involves two things: practice and constructive criticism.
Writing is a skill like any other and the only way to become proficient at it is to put in the work.
Constructive criticism involves reviews by someone with more experience such as a writing coach or instructor, as well as reviews by members of the audience you are trying to reach.

Find a mentor or tutor of some sort to give feedback on what you wrote. Also finding books at the library on writing skills to work through exercises that can help improve your writing.
It's usually not enough to simply write more--you really need to get somebody else's feedback. Things can make a lot of sense to us but that's because they're our thoughts and we never write all of our thoughts down. Feedback from another source helps us see it differently.

Go to night classes for adults. They will take you through writing and reading, the old fashioned way. NO computers involved. Call you local community center and they should put you in the right direction.
Good Luck

Practice, practice, practice...as well as a few good writing classes, and reading many different styles and authors.
