I just bought an American bulldog mixed with a boxer who looks more like a bulldog and my dog has blue eyes. I heard neither one of the breeds ever have blue eyes so how come mine does.

Your dog may be mixed with more than these two breeds if he has blue eyes, because, no, neither of these breeds are known for blue eyes. If you can post a photo, it would give us a better idea.

Blue eyes are recessive genes (at least in humans, and I expect in dogs too); if it was from a pet store it just might be bad breeding, but it still might be a wonderful dog.

I've never heard of a blue eyed boxer either.. maybe it's a genetic fluke?

Rubbish!
White boxers and abd's can have white eyes, it is suspected to be linked to deafness.
Have your dog's hearing checked out.
