does anyone know how to get so my ps2 doesnt delay on a 46" widescreen hdtv? is there certain cables? pls help

If your HDTV is working to upscale the PS2's output, it may be causing the delay as well.

I know that some Samsung DLP TV's, on which delay was an issue, have a setting called "Game Mode," which forces the TV to remain in 480i/p (depending on the game console's output) and doesn't do any additional processing on the signal. Maybe your set has something similar.

Check that your tv isn't doing any picture processing. If it is, it will delay slightly.

Make sure your ps2 isn't connected through a dvr or anything like that too.
