Sure, why not? OK, so I can't make that Vulcan gesture where you make like a "V" with your fingers, I admit it. Who cares? I like smart people and I think the average Trekker is smarter than the average non-Trekker.
I like Star Trek OK but I'm not a fanatic about it. I'd be more concerned about how the guy treated me than whether or not he attends Star Trek conventions in costume, LOL!

I'm a big Star Trek fan and have been for as long as I can remember. I don't however stalk the stars of the shows, nor do I try to find hidden meanings on the shows. I enjoy the shows as sci-fi. Would I date a gal who was into Star Trek? Yup! Just can't find them anywhere. So I'll just go replicate one.

Trekkers have very high expectations for ethics and behaviour. Friendship and loyalty is paramount. I'd be happy to be with a trekker any day.

Okay depends on if the person is crazy into star trek or just likes to watch. Beacuase if you see this person's apartment and its like a sci-fi convention, then no.

I'd check my Dilithium Crystals first....then turn shields and deflectors on " max" and call Scotty to BEAM me down. Dating a person with like interests is cool, I'd go for it. I went to a Trek Convention in 1976 in Jacksonville, Fl. and I count myself as a big fan.

I have and I would! I love Star Trek and keep hoping to find that special Trekker at one of the conventions or something. I think it would be nice if I found a Trekker since we'd have that common interest, we could "talk Trek."
Yes, I have actually attended Star Trek (or sci fi) conventions. Yes, I'll even admit to going in costume. OK, so I own a Star Trek uniform... or two... is that a crime?
I think Trekkers are, on the whole, very intelligent and non-judgmental people... well, except when it comes to Neelix. A lot of us still think that he should have been vaporized early in the series. Ah, well.... But the plots on Trek episodes were very sophisticated and the shows have tackled some very serious issues. They're, on the whole, positive and up-beat.
I worry about the folks that are judgmental and put Trek down without having given it a chance. Now THAT'S someone that I would not want to date.
