if it depends on his income, say hes on welfare, does he never have to pay anything? Ever as long as he stays on welfare? what if he holds a min. wage job full time? That about 1000$ per month, then how much would he have to pay? About....30$? 60? 140$? I really have NO idea....

All I know is that in Canada if you don't pay support at all your rights as a father are revoked and you go to jail. While you are in jail child support keeps racking up when you do have a job say a 12/hour job it is something like 320/month. Welfare people still have to pay a percentage of thier welfare to child support and also any other extra cash like GST would go to the mother. If you had any income taxes at all she would also get a percentage of that if you were on welfare. Either way you pay.

It absolutely depends on his income and whether or not both parents live in the same province. If they live in different provinces then federal guidleines come into play. You can get a copy of the incomes and amounts of child support from a lawyer or the federal government.

I believe it depends on how much the father makes per year, and possibly the province that the father lives in. Not 100% sure about the province part.

Depends on his income and the judge's ruling based on what the mother makes and any other resources she may have at her disposal.
