So that they will one day invent the typewriter, write the Bible, and give out free copies to the humans of the ancient civilizations.

1. There is a THEORY called divergent evolution. Different related ancestors many many generations back evolved differently depending on their environment and the niches that were available. Some of the animals became monkeys and then remained relatively unchanged and others continued to evolve into what we know as humans.
2. Evolution does not claim that we evolved from apes, it says that we share a common ancestor and have very similar DNA (something like 97% similarity i think). This is a common misconception.

God did create man and animals but evolution is a theory that man developed from the frogs and monkeys and up.
Mans' opinion does not change the Word or history.

Evolution makes no such claim. Such an error, frequently made by creationists, can occur for only one of two reasons: ignorance or dishonesty, there is no third option, although it is possible to be both ignorant and a liar.
And, Creationists are the most outrageous of pathological liars. My favorite Creationist lie is the claim that human footprints have been found in the same geologic context as dinosaur tracts, thus PROVING coexistence.
They always neglect to mention, however, that the ‘alleged’ human footprint measures 18 inches in length;13 inches in width; and 5 inches in thickness. Further – a mold cast from the footprint holds more than 5 gallons (almost 20 liters) of water. It is, of course another dinosaur footprint

Evolution of the soul is real but monkeys are still monkeys. The scientists have already proven evolution wrong. Read the Hidden History of the Human Race and Forbidden Archeology by Michael A. Cremo. IT has heaps of archaeological evidence that man was way more intelligent in all respects even millions of years ago and they didn't look like cavemen or monkeys. Go to krishnaculture. to understand evolution of the soul.

1. Evolution is a proven fact. Everybody except religious fanatics knows this.
2. You mean "apes"; religious fanatics can't even tell the difference.
3. Humans did not evolve from apes; humans and apes have common ancestry.
4. It's like asking "If butter is made from milk, how come there's still milk?"
dragonfly9151974:
There is no debate. I do not need to have "faith" in evolution any more than I need to have "faith" in gravity. Scientists don't explore non-scientific questions ("what if there was an entity that could never be detected using any scientific means?") Creationism has nothing to do with science; there is nothing to explore.
29 evidences of macroevolution:

Again: creationism is not scientific theory. It's a story.
You're either lying or mistaken if you claim Darwin recanted on his deathbed; he did not, and in either case it wouldn't have mattered.
IM or email me if you want to learn more, but not if you just want to waste my time or try to convert me (you can't).

Stop getting your science from Yahoo answers, all the Atheist and Agnostics are living in the 1980s.
Current scientific thinking is MAN developed separate from animals as a discintict spieces.
And it was never monkeys, but Apes. But that theory is now gone, along with Pluto being a planet. Science changed it's mind, unfortuantey Yahoo Answer Atheists and Agnostics don't do continuing eduction!

If evolution is real, then why do you ask about God creating anything? Evolution implies that God is a construct of humans...one or the other, ma'am.

To allow the Creationists to babble about it endlessly.
"Look, there are monkeys, how are there monkeys if we evolved from monkeys? Huh? Explain all the monkeys!! You can't! That means creationism is right and evolution is stupid! Go play with your monkeys, stupid evolution believing stupid heads!"
