I'm a 14 yr old female. I weigh somewhere between 104-107lbs. I have school again in about 2 weeks..I have tons of homework with one or 2 hours left of free time during schooldays. I eat a small amount of meat everyday along with vegtables and fruits. I never eat junk food and haven't eaten any junk food since i was 11.5yrs old. I exsersise a lot during the vacation and only walk/use elliptical strider for about an hour on the school days. I don't have any PE class at school this year and it's way too late to join a sports team. can you please help? thank you sooo much.

That is pretty hard. It's a case of losing body fat, whilst maintaing and building muscle. I don't think at your weight, you need to lose body fat, but you can still add muscle. Yes, your will weigh a bit more, but your body fat percentage will be lower.

You need to cut out the junk food and get lots of low fat, high protein foods, try to eat at least 100g of protein per day. Start weight training 3-4 times per week (although check with a doctor, because you are quite young) and do cardio on alternate days. Don't forget your carbs, you need them too, but make sure they are low on the glycemic index. And also be sure to keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

Good luck : )

Sounds like the only thing you need is variety. Try something different next time you work out; your body gets used to a workout if its done every day and then is no longer challenged by it. when you walk, walk on an incline or change your speed every few minutes (speed up, then slow down, then speed up again). Also, strength training is a great way to help lose fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, though, so dont worry if you gain a little weight. Its all muscle!

Do pilates. That is the best way to strengthen and tone muscles.

HOWEVER - whatever you do, remember this - MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT! you could potentially be slightly thinner and weight slightly more... don't focus on weight, focus on how toned your muscles look.

I had this same questin myself last year. I did crunches (sets or 25, 2 times) and I would run a mile, I would also do some push-ups. Trust me it works.~~

How do you turn hay into gold? I know you cant! And you cant turn fat into muscle either. They are 2 different tissues.
