I have spanked my children. Not obsessively. Now I realize that it was wrong to do that and if I could go back, I would not have spanked.

Nope and mine has a black belt in eagle claw kung fu and could hurt me terribly. I simply never allowed her to have control.

I used to, but generally I give them a gentle tap on the side of head with the old lead pipe whenever they get violent.
Sometimes, when I get bored, I give them a few whacks just to remind them who is boss.
