I've had an open bottle of Alize (the orange one) in the fridge since last December... is it any good?

Alize has a fair amount of sugar, but still has a fair amount of alcohol as I recall, so it shouldn't really "go bad" at all. So long as any alcohol content remains, that should kill any bacteria that tries to invade. Unless it looks odd in some way (fuzzy, suddenly bubbly, crawling out of the bottle) it should be okay, or at least not harmful, to drink. Having been opened for a long time, it may have lost some flavor, or taken on some off flavors by absorbing other odors from your fridge. Give it a taste and see, it's probably okay. At the worst, it might seem stale.

On the upside, if it's lived untouched in your fridge that long, clearly it's not something you want to buy again.

usually, when you open a bottle of wine, it somewhat is somewhat useful to place it interior the refrigerator, and to seal it decrease back appropriate. If it somewhat is in basic terms for some days the cork or cap will do, yet while longer, you may evaluate paying for one in each of those pumps which will vacuum seal the bottle decrease back for you so as that the wine won't proceed to oxidize. Oxidization will reason the wine to ruin. A extreme temperature will additionally velocity up this technique, subsequently the keeping interior the refrigerator. As a ordinary rule, you may scent the wine and have a small sip to be sure your self if the wine is spoilt, as wines ruin at distinctive expenses, in step with how they have been elderly, bottled, the temperature at which its stored, etc. The wine shouldn't scent or flavor bitter or "vinegar-ish". the colour of the wine shouldn't fluctuate lots or in any respect from the unique shade while it somewhat is opened (tilt your glass and carry it against the easy to work out) ______________________________________..... hi I in basic terms study the replace. however you haven't any longer have been given a refrigerator, that's ok as long as you maintain the wine in a cool place (i.e. no longer direct under the nice and cozy solar). i do no longer understand how long it somewhat is going to final, considering i'm uncertain what the climate is like the place you're, yet it is uncomplicated to attempt the wine in accordance to the "scent-shade-flavor" attempt i discussed interior the previous paragraph. besides if it somewhat is maximum of of you, i'm specific you could end the wine, a bottle has in basic terms - what? - 6 glasses of wine in it?
