I recieved a drink mixer set for Christmas. It came with a pom. drink mixer, sour mixer, long island mixer, and some others. How do i use these? Do I use them in place of juices or do i just add them in the mix with the juice and alcohol?

Mixers usually come with drink suggestions, however, i am not sure if you long island mixer is just a sour and cola or what...in any case, I can give a few suggestions. Pomegranate mixers can be AMAZING in martinis and/or margaritas. For a pom marg, I suggest 2 oz of mix, 1 1/2 oz. patron, 3 oz. of sour mix, and 1/2 oz of cointreau. For long island mix, you can make normal long island orrrr long beaches which are my fav...Instead of cola use cranberry juice. Yummy! I bartend if you need anything else let me know!

yes and yes... you can use them anyway of the ways you described, not alone cuz they are not tasty.. pom mixer is great for pom martini long island i am guessing is everything but the alcohol so you will prob need a great book like THE BARTENDERS BIBLE sour is used in alot of drinks from long islands to amaretto stone sours.

usually you will mix them with alcohol - there should be something on the label with serving suggestions. The long island mixer will be mixed with vodka, I think. I just drew a blank on that one. sour mixer will be good with vodka too. See if it came with some suggestions on what to mix it with, usually they do.

you would possibly want to blend vodka with very almost something you frequently have around the domicile; orange juice, cranberry juice, coke, Dr pepper, sprite the list is going on and on... you should also try countless the flavored vodkas Cherry, Orange, Blueberry oh and there is this new sweet Tea Vodka you may drink it immediately or in case you don't like it that sturdy you may blend it with actual sweet tea. Oh sure you may basically use a spoon to stir it at the same time as it says shake!
