Dreaming is a part of brain activity at night. If you are stressed about something, maybe you should think about directly addressing what you might be worried about. Exercise can help you alleviate stress...but the best time to exercise is morning through afternoon. Try not to do an exercise regiment at night, a few hours before bed time---by doing this too close to bed time, it makes it difficult for people to get to sleep.

Exercise helps by releasing endorphins to make you feel good. They in turn relase hormones that help you to relax. When you exercise, you make your body work, so it becomes tired. The key is routine and consistency.
Circadian rhythms are the brain's natural way of telling us when to sleep and when to be active. Since exercise promotes shifts in the body clock, it could be a viable method of treating circadian-related sleep problems. Such problems are most associated with individuals whose body clocks are thrown off by work commitments at odd or varying work hours.
Exercising outdoors may provide added benefit since light exposure has sleep-promoting and anti-depressant effects.
Even vigorous activity just prior to sleep does not necessarily disturb sleep. Those who have trouble sleeping should experiment with exercise at different times of the day.

I heard it does, but unless your dreaming that you need to excersise more then you should probably address the main reason you are having these dreams. Start a journal and write in it every morning about what you are dreaming. Include every detail you can remember...colors, people, names, places, etc...This may help you to figure out the cause of the dreams.

Generally, yes exercising regularly does improve sleeping habits. However, exercising late in the evening may prevent the ability to go to sleep... Try exercising earlier in the day, and the old "warm milk" remedy really does work (unless of course you are alergic to milk products!)

yes it can help- say exercise about an hour before at least though- exercise for some people can make their adreneline start up and energize them. But after that immediate boost- you'll wear out.
