this lady ordered a ham and swiss sandwich at the restaurant i work at but was "allergic to swiss" so she got provolone.

You can be allergic to ANYTHING!
Why not swiss cheese?

doubtful. Maybe lactose intolerant (she'll be farting up a storm in a few hours if she is), maybe allergic to most cheese, and swiss makes he ract up more? I suppose its possibel though

It's possible to have an allergy to just about any kind of food or drug. So, yeah, she probably wasn't lying about being allergic.

yes, because an allergy is caused when the immune system mistakes a harmless substance for a pathogen(disease causing organism) and triggers antibody production.
