whenever i take pics from my digital cam lots of horizontal lines appear going through the pics,plz can anyone tell me how to get rid of this problem?

I bet you own a Fuji FinePix E550? At any rate it is an exposure problem. The lens shutter (or iris) is either stuck or being slowed down due to some internal physical problem with the lens. I recommend taking it to a shop and having them check it out.
If it is an E550 (fuji) call fuji at 800-659-3854. They may be able to fix it for free. Tell them your problem and see what they say.

Is this when you view them on your computer? If so then I can only imagine that the image sensor is faulty. Sorry I can't be more help without more information.

this is the first time ive done this but answer one of my questions letting me know if you can up load videos from a digital camera onto your computer
