Do you think where and when a women gets a tattoo should be determined by age, shape etc? What do you think?

THIS is just a question I think some one has issues you need to work on.... If asking a question is being a snob I think some therapy is in your future.

Thanks for so many answers. I have for years thinking about getting one. I'm turning 42 on 12/31 and thinking of getting one for my birthday.

I think this is a matter of personal preference. It's your body, illustrate whatever parts you'd like. Personally, I don't like tattoos on breasts. To me, they can't be made more attractive than they are on their own. And I work in labor and delivery, so I'm of the opinion that you should wait til you're done having babies to get a tattoo on your belly, unless you really don't care if that cute little dolphin turns into a whale later.

I'm not sure I fully understood your question. Are you asking if there should be a cut off age, as in too old or too young? I don't think so. Part of being young is doing new things, and possibly learning to live with regret. It makes you wiser. ANd my 70 year old grandmother just got her first tattoo. You're never too old to have fun.

I don't think there should be any cut-off point. Tattoos are personal and for the person wearing them. To some, they're a aesthetic...to others, they mark milestones.

If one finds that a woman's tattoos are off-putting, then it's a pretty effective means of finding out, without ever having to speak, whether or not those two people might ever get along. Call it a 'personality filter' if you want. My ex used to believe that there were limits to either tattoos or piercings and that what I wanted crossed those lines. I happily crossed those lines because the tattoos and piercings are for me...and that's why the ex is just that.
My shape is far from perfect, and I'm not college aged anymore (by a long shot) and I'll be damned if anybody tells me that either of those are reasons to not get another tat or piercing because of them. If you disapprove, up yours...if you don't, there's a good chance we'll be friends.

On top of that, I'm a decently paid professional, so they've not been limiting in that regard, either.

Well there is no cut off point to speak of be it male or female.
It's all in what the person likes for some 1 are 2 is all they need and are want me i have 7 but i know some women that have more then i do and one's a teachers and so-forth but she is still one of the sweetest Lady's i know and none of her Tattoos can even be seen. but if we think we know when enough is enough for someone El's then we become hypocrites no better then then the person we talk about but if it's you asking for your self then when your feel its enough then it will be and as for were they should have them then thats when good tast comes in to play such as ones you cant have seen at your work place and so on...

Well, at any age, a tatoo should be tasteful. No, there is no cut off age, my mum only started having tatoos done when she hit 50 and had never even thought about it before. It's not just some fashion fad for teenagers and early 20's, it's for whoever wants to express themselves through body art. Tatoos have always been around and will continue to stay around forever. HTH : )

No. It is the woman's body and choice to get whatever she wants, wherever she wants. I was 38 before I got a tat on my upper arm that can be seen by anyone when I were a tank top. Now I want a shoulder piece that will tie into the arm piece, and I'm 42.

The last time I checked , this was still a free country, if your 21 or older, you have the right to get a tatoo anywhere you want one. It also doesn't matter if your fat, skinny or wrinkled, this is a personal preference. No one has the right to tell an adult they can or cannot get a tatoo.

Well I don't think there is a cut-off age.. a 40 yr. old woman maby shouldn't get one on her boob. However I think there are some tasteful spots like the ankle or the arm, depending on the age. This is just my opinion though.

i think anybody at any point in their life (age 16 or older) should be able to get a tattoo. i don't think you can be too fat or too old or too ugly or too beautiful to get a tattoo. of course i always prefer custom tattoos and ones that are well thought out and well placed. but as long as the ones on my body please me, i really don't care what other people do. i also don't think that women with multiple tattoos are ugly. tattoos can be beautiful art and i am ready for more people to start seeing them that way. check mine out at:
