I have 2 cats (female) and am fostering 2 other cats (male) and they don't get along. Both of the boys terrorize one of my other cats. One stalks her and the other physically attacks her. I lock them up but i can't over night or they wake me up at 3 in the morning wanting out. Luckily they don't bother her then. But I have no clue what to do!!!! HELP ASAP!!

Maybe it's because the cats feel territorial, and they should be introduced to each other in small doses...and when you notice things are going sour, separate them...or try introducing them to your own cats one at a time...hope this helps!

Spray bottle. Antyime the males go near the females, squirt them. Don't let them see you do it and don't say anything. Shortly after they will associate the females with the water and will steer clear. Otherwise or in the meantime, crate the cats if you can. During a certain time, allow your cats out and the foster cats in the crate then rotate so every cat gets equal time out of the crate. This will also allow all of the cats to get used to each others scents better than just being slammed together in a house with unfamiliar animals. Good luck!

Talk to a vet maybe the cats that you are fostering have rabbies or someting. If you dont want the cats to wake you up, put them somewhere that you cant hear them. They most likely will not die if you just ignore them overnight. Put them all in seperate cages to, that might help.

Separate them, and get rid of the males as soon as you can. Why do you want to plague the other cats? Are you gonna wind up as one of those cat ladies that have 70+ cats when she loses her mind and has to be carted off to the nursing home?

i know your trying to help out by fostering those cats but you may have to send them back, if they keep terrorizing your cat, if it's been a short time since you have had them they may need more time to get along

you locking them up is actually going to cause more of a problem then anything..you just have to let the animals get use to each other but by locking them up that cant happen b/c theyre being isolated...give it a few days and theyll start getting along

You should treat them like children. Seperate them. Keep the boys in one room, and the girls in another. As for the 3 a.m. thing, you should go to a vet and insert a tracker into them and let them outside. On the otherhand you could sell them...

I think it's a dominance thing.
My suggestion is to get a squirt gun and blast them when they pick on her. Hopefully after getting wet a couple times they will make friends...or at least move into "cold indifference" mode until it's time to leave.
Good luck!

As long as no one is being injured, just let them settle it. It might take a few days, but they will.
