Who cares which system will win!! It's all depending which system that you like the most, who cares what other people says! For myself i think the ps3 is the best, because it has the future format of DVD, Blue-ray and it is the most powerful system in the world yet. The games only used a little bit of the tech that the ps3 offers and the games are as good as the other systems! next few years, they'll figure out how to use the full advantage that the ps3 ofers and you can imagine how good it will be!!

Personaly, I want to see the PS3 come out on top because Sony has allot riding on it, and I like Sony. I want to see them continue to make quality products. Much of it has to do with the blueray investment. I also don't want to see the Xbox 360 fail; I like Microsoft as well.

Personally, I already know who's going to win.

I will. See, I don't know why anybody BUYS games, when sooner or later they all become free (or at least very cheap). Remember Battle Arena Toshinden for the PS1? Three bucks, still awesome. Remember the original Civilization? Available for free online, still radical (classic games demand classic terminology).

And the net hasn't stopped growing yet. A lot of games are available for free (what's copyright law?), and as time goes on, new games will push the old ones into obsolescence and freedom (and onto my computer). Since there's nothing illegal about emulators, programmers can work on them with impunity whenever they please.

For all I know, somebody might already be working on a PS3 emulator. Why in the world would I pay hundreds of dollars for something that will probably break within a few years, when in a few years I'll probably be able to download a reliable program that'll be just like a PS3, only on my laptop... even if I have to change laptops half a dozen times between now and then.

So I say again, the consumer... the citizen who doesn't play the console game-maker's game, and works the system for themselves is the ultimate winner. And for the record, the jury's still out on whether Blu-Ray is the future of dvd.
